While website work is not something I actively seek anymore, I felt it only fair to showcase some of the projects I have been involved with in the past. Helping create websites is one of those love/hate practices — after you lose all patience trying to figure out how to do one thing, there is an immense satisfaction when the final product comes to be. Creating a website involves countless hours of tweaking code, the selection of colours, the finding the balance between clean and cluttered, and discovering the design to promote the right online presence. East Coast Marine Repairs
Friendly, mobile, experienced. I had the great pleasure of working with Todd from East Coast Marine Repairs to help produce an online presence that looked professional. Todd operates as a marine repair and maintenance service based in Lake Macquarie, NSW, servicing primarily the greater Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions. He offers a fully equipped mobile business and travels extensively along the east coast of NSW, from Port Stephens to Wollongong and beyond for all mechanical service, diagnosis and repair work for marine vessel. From tinny to catamaran, Todd will help. I worked on not only his site but also capturing a number of the promotional and landscape photographs on the website. Pop on over and have a look!
Kebmo Clothing
I have been working with Kébé for some time as he developed a stunning range of t-shirt designs. The resulting Kebmo Clothing range of t-shirts incorporate his decades of experience within the fashion scene with African infused, music-inspired art. The high quality garments are combined with a range of designs that will catch the eye and inspire the soul. Beyond building the online store, all the product shots within have been taken by me, with plenty more to come as the range continues to grow. Show your passion and do it with Style That Sings!
Blazing Pressure Cleaning
Luke from Blazing Pressure Cleaning is one of the most laid back, friendly and down-to-earth blokes you will meet. When he approached me to help build his site, he was all about offering this beautiful city a service he believed in. Blazing Pressure Cleaning uses the best technology by combining pressure cleaning with steaming hot water to provide the best clean while not requiring the high pressures that will strip away concrete and leave your paths rough and hard to walk on. Oh, if only I’d known about him before my brother cleaned our paths with his industrial pressure cleaner…! If you need any surface cleaned, give Luke a call! You won’t regret it! Charlton House Bed & Breakfast
I’ve worked for a few B&Bs now, but there is something truly special about Charlton House. Doreen and Warren are beautiful, welcoming people. The house is utterly stunning, with its 12 foot ceilings, wide timber boards, antique furnishings and spacious rooms. The surrounds, with the quiet yards, outdoor woodfire pizza oven and BBQ area, and beautiful pool, all for guests to enjoy, are something unique. And, oh boy, the food. With many years owning and running some of Newcastle’s most beloved cafes, Doreen provides some scrumptious food for you to enjoy on your weekend escape.
